Options Dialog Window
To open the Options dialog window select Edit/Options... or press Ctrl+E.
Options window consists of the following tabs:
General Settings
- Image Color Management
Setup Image Color Correction by selecting color profile files.
Color correction works by adjusting image colors on the fly to match monitor's or printer's capabilities.
Image Viewer supports turning color correction on and off separately (G).
- Monitor Resolution
This option offers geometry correction relevant for some CRT resolutions distorting image—the ones
with non-square pixels.
Resolutions like 1280x1024 or 1600x1024 with aspect ratio different then 4:3 on a standard display may squeeze
image vertically. To counter this distortion ExifPro can stretch images restoring original
shapes, so circle will again resemble circle rather than ellipse. To activate this corrective action
select the check box and provide monitor resolution by pressing Resolution button.
Correction will take place in a preview window and in a viewer window.
- Field of View Crop
Digital cameras usually have CCD smaller then a 35 mm film frame. To calculate focal length equivalent
to 35 mm SLR camera one has to multiply given focal length by a factor. It's value depends on a
particular camera. In this grid one can specify camera model (as seen in the EXIF info block) and a number.
Numbers can by given explicitly (like 1.5) or as a division (35 mm equivalent focal length divided by given
camera focal length).
Converted focal length value is presented in the column titled ‘Focal Length (35 mm)’
as opposed to the original focal length shown in ‘Focal Length’ column.
- Open Photo Application

‘Open’ from the context menu launches this application passing selected image for editing.
