The Print Tool (Ctrl+P) allows printing full size images and thumbnail preview images.
Preview window shows selected images, printer margins as well as selected page margins.
Prior to invoking the Print Tool one has to select photographs in the images pane window.
Those photographs will be used by the Print Tool.
Printing options:
Depending on the selected layout page printing area is subdivided into one, two or more areas (image space)
where photographs are located. Image space is typically larger than a photograph located in it due to the fact
that image is scaled to fit image space preserving its aspect ratio. Manipulating margins adjusts size of image spaces.
Image aspects may differ. Many digital cameras produce images with 4:3 width to height ratio as well as a standard
3:2 (typical for 35 mm film photographs).
Thumbnails printing uses photographs' thumbnail images instead of actual photographs. It's meant to create reference printouts of images.
