Slide Show Tool
The Slide Show Tool (Ctrl+G) can generate a stand-alone application
(Windows executable) with embedded selected photographs resized to the given dimensions. Such an application
consists of just one file. It acts as a container for photographs allowing simple display in a window.
Prior to invoking the Slide Show Tool one has to select photographs in the images pane window.
Those photographs will be used to generate the slide show in the order they show up in the images pane.
Slide show generation is controlled by the set of input parameters:
- Size of Photos
One can select predefined size or drag slider to the ‘Custom’ position and enter desired dimensions
in pixels.
Note: original aspect ratio is always preserved. Entering 100 pixels by 100 pixels will ensure photo
will not be larger than 100 by 100 pixels, but it still could be rectangular if such was the original.
- Quality
Select predefined compression ratio or enter a value from 0..100 range. Approximate size reduction is presented.
- Slide Show Application
Path and a file name of the slide show application to be generated as well as additional parameters controlling
how the slide show will be played back.
