Image Viewer is useful to open selected photograph full screen for closer examination. It opens images in a display area supporting zooming and panning. An image color correction and aspect correction can be used to improve photograph's appearance.
The Viewer Window consists of four parts: toolbar, preview list, display area and a light table.
Preview list presents all the files in a sort order selected in the images pane window.
It provides quick access to all the photographs. It could be resized or closed if it takes up too much space.
Pressing B toggles preview list visibility.
Toolbar can also be temporarily hidden by pressing T.
Photographs can be quickly browsed through using mouse wheel (if present) or PageUp and PageDown keys. Mouse wheel acts differently in the preview list (scrolls photos) and viewer window (advances to the next/previous photo).
Photos can be viewed in a full screen mode (Enter). To start automatic advancing slide show mode can be activated (S). Default viewer colors can be configured in the Options window.
To examine two images side by side one can use two view panes
(C) feature. Zoom level and scroll position remain in synch. The two view panes may
be oriented horizontally or vertically (\). To activate a pane one has to click on it.
Active pane will respond to the next/previous image commands, while inactive pane will stay intact. Little triangle next to the
pane's caption is an indication that this is active window.
